Front mounted radiator fitted along with strengthening door bars and driver's airbag. 12 inch Pepperpot alloy wheels as standard. The Classic Mini Se7en was introduced in April 2000 in either Solar Red, Old English White or Black as the last non-Cooper Mini.

Details : Engine now utilised Multi-Point fuel Injection to lower emissions, noise and increase performance. Front mounted radiator fitted along with strengthening door bars and driver's airbag. Extra features included additional spot lamps, bonnet stripes, sports alloy wheels and Monaco trim. Sports pack option available for an extra £795 including wider 13inch wheels and wider wheel arches. The names Classic Cooper and Classic Cooper Sport were introduced in April 2000. The Classic Cooper model gained silver and black leather seats whereas the Classic Cooper Sport gained black and nickel leather seats and also alloy door furniture.

Production of the Mini Hot Rod and Mini Limo
Details: Built as one-offs for the 1997 Frankfurt motor show. The Mini Hot Rod featured a 16 Valve version of the 1275cc A-series engine with a power output of 160bhp. The Mini Limo was a luxury show car featuring electric leather seats, satellite navigation and polished 13inch alloy wheels.

Last Mini built at Longbridge was a Red Cooper Sport.

A la fin 2000 Rover décida pour la France de sortir une série spéciale de la cooper sport de 2000 en y ajoutant un logo sur la malle arrière "ForEver" et une plaque en aluminium sur la boite à gant, et le détail le plus important... un magnifique 3ème feu stop (que je trouve horrible)

25 Cooper Sport conduite à gauche on bien était produites pour l'Europe (nommées cooper sport for ever en france, Cooper Sport final Edition en Suisse et cooper sport pour Allemagne (voir différents forum ou livres genre "100% mini" ).

A partir de 1996, Rover a repris plusieurs dixaines de teintes pour la mini, nouveau moteur (MPI injection), nouvel équipement : (Jantes 13", Airbag conducteur, nouvelle sellerie cuir, autoradio intégré au tableau de bord, renfort dans les portières... et des centaines de pièces neuves construites pour l'occasion comme la climatisation, une nouvelle boîte automatique, des moquettes spécifiques...)

Les couleurs des dernières MPI du millésime 2000 et 2001 pour le 500 édition : (la particularité c'est le gris Silver remplacé par le blanc des anciens millésimes (toit, rétroviseurs...))

Platinum Silver (coloris pour la 40ème anniversaire avec cuir Rouge et tableau de bord en alu bouchonné),
le Gold de la knightsbridge,

le Whitehall beige,
le red Fire,
l'Epson green,
Island Blue (bleu clair très beau, j'en connais une sur un modèle 40ème anniversaire, très exclusif),
Gris Charcoal (gris foncé pour la série Brooklands sortie d'après mes informations qu'en Allemagne),
le Volcano Orange,
le Tahiti blue JRP (BLVC 965),
Mulberry Red Pealescent (coloris utilisé pour les 40ème, 250 pour le marché Anglais, 40 il me semble pour la France),
Old English White (roof),
Brooklands Green (HFB - BLVC1265)...

Le coloris Whitehall beige est surprenant : une couleur à mi chemin entre le blanc, le beige et le gris.
Cette couleur ne fût disponible que lors du millésime 1997, son cuir "Tarten red" avec passepoil beige et son tableau de bord bois s'accordent à merveille avec cette teinte rarissime.

Astuce : si vous cherchez le code du coloris de votre mini elle est inscrite sur une plaque sur l'aile avant droite, attention si votre mini est bicolore le code correspond aux deux couleurs.
